Delhi Dehli Place
Longing for the sweet taste of saffron and and the enticing aromas of curry and cumin? Delhi Dehli is the perfect place to satisfy your cravings for Indian cuisine. At the first curry bar in Ukraine, you definitely won’t fall short of options with many variations of curry available. The chef came to Delhi Dehli from India with the goal of developing Indian cuisine in our modern megapolis. Now, both an Indian and Ukrainian chef work in the kitchen developing a fusion of tastes to suit any palette.
We recommend trying the Shahi paneer (pieces of soft cheese in a cashew-based curry sauce) and Indonesian rendang (juicy chicken with pineapple in a red masala sauce). And don’t miss out on ordering a dish cooked in the tandoori, an Indian clay oven, like the lamb kebab or chicken marinated with cilantro and mint. All dishes pair well with traditional Naan bread. For dessert, try the carrot halva with passion fruit jelly. Of course, wines and cocktails are available but make sure you try the flower tea, like the Masala Tea with blue orchid.
This little piece of India in Kyiv maintains an authentic feel and even the plates and dishes were imported from India. Remember that Indian food is traditionally eaten with your fingers. Apparently, it’s more delicious that way. You’ll just have to try it yourself and see.
