Branded as the first audiophile bar in Ukraine, it brings a new platform for post-clubbers with a focus on sound quality perfection and attention to design detail. With an ear-tinglingly clear sound system and unconventional DJ nights, Gram gives you that sought-after taste of clubbing but in a more comfortable atmosphere.
The impressive vinyl collection at the entrance signals that this place is dedicated to quality music only. Throughout the week, Gram organises a variety of thematic events, most of them based on vinyl culture, but don’t be surprised if you show up during their cinema club, which often promotes Ukrainian short movies.
Once you’re inside, don’t miss out on what the kitchen has to offer – after all, this isn’t actually a nightclub. The menu is rather short, but each dish has been well thought-out. The chicken liver pate is an absolute hit; other favorites are Asian shrimp soup, baked salmon with quinoa, and avocado with mango mousse with white chocolate. On top of all this, the venue organises a national cuisine week with dishes from a selected country joining the menu for that week. Following on from Malaysian and Italian weeks most recently, Indian is up next with Bollywood soundtracks to pair.
The drink selection is wide and varied, with a far greater choice than you could hope for from any club. You’ll be captivated by their dazzlingly vibrant tipples, particularly by the in-house special; the Gram Original cocktail, based on gin and martini and infused with tropical notes of passion fruit and juniper berries.
Gram is a place that combines good dining, quality music with a great sound system and frequent thematic evenings – and all at a reasonable time of day. What more could you ask for?
