A Moving History
Nato Night
20, 23-24 April
Institute of International Relations (Melnykova 36/1)
To dispel some of the myths and stereotypes people might have about NATO, students within the Faculty of History at Shevchenko University in cooperation with the NATO Information and Documentation Centre in Kyiv, have prepared a historical enactment project. NATO Night aims to provide the Ukrainian public with an unbiased view about the Alliance, reasons that led to its creation, and relations with countries of the Warsaw Pact – particularly the Soviet Union, between the years 1949-1990 in a creative and entertaining way.
