The rocking and sometimes uneven beat, the synth echo in combination with the silky voice of Daníel Ágúst, make the band truly unique. Their music is like audio hypnosis, achieved by experiments with a palette of genres like trip-hop, trance, and house. The band from Reykjavik has collaborated with such great artists as Björk, Depeche Mode, and Ian Brown. In February, GusGus released its 10th album Lies Are More Flexible, hits from which will be performed at their concert here in Kyiv.

This Slovenian-Croatian duo of cellists became famous for their instrumental covers of popular rock and pop songs. The virtuosos have reinterpreted the music of Michael Jackson, U2, Guns N ‘Roses, Sting, Coldplay, Nirvana, and many others. Their YouTube channel has more than 3 million subscribers, and the videos have attracted tens of millions of views. Their academic musical education allows these artists to perform classical music and music from film scores. Having attracted fame worldwide, they went on tour with Elton John, and soon the duo will perform in Kyiv for the first time.

As described by an anonymous user on YouTube, this group and its oeuvre can be described in three words: rain, Sunday, evening. Indeed, the androgenic voice of Greg Gonzalez is pitching towards melancholia, a catalyst for romantic and dreamy moods, with tunes that run slowly and cause nostalgia. The author of the project injects his memories into each tune, so empathy arises. The name of the band and its self-titled album speaks for itself, and it’s no wonder that the song Nothing’s Gonna Hurt You Baby appeared in an episode of the TV series Shameless.
