Welcome Back

15 September 2018

The new business season opened with a splash on 6 September thanks to the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine. ACC gathered the business community for the traditional September Welcome Back cocktail at Normal Kiev, where chamber members came to welcome each other after the hot summer break, discuss upcoming business priorities, and enjoy a little networking. Special themed cocktails, delicious snacks, and an exciting draw for two round trip tickets to Malta was part of the fun and proved a great start to the active business months ahead.

The Austrian embassy along with members of the diplomatic community celebrated their national day at a grand reception on 25 October at the Hilton Hotel. A hundred years following the end of the WWI the event was also marked by the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Austria. Numerous guests from Ukraine and Austria, representatives of other countries and international organisations, partners and friends of Austria, along with Ambassador Hermine Poppeller, the Embassy team, and Advantage Austria Ukraine celebrated in great style.
