René Magritte: Surrealist of the 20th Century

This is a one-off lecture at KISPP celebrating the creative quintessence of Belgian artist René Magritte. Upon first glance, his paintings can seem simple, but when more closely scrutinised the complexity emerges. Today Magritte’s works have taken on a new form and purpose, often shared on the internet as thought-provoking anti-propaganda messages.
