Constellations: Oleg Sokolov, Mykola Lukin
29 November – 3 February
Dymchuk Gallery (Yaroslavska 21)
This exhibition is a chance to compare the works of intergenerational artists. Constellations is a series of artworks by representatives of the Odesa non-conformism (a movement spanning the 60s, 70s, and 80s) and Odesa contemporary artists. Oleg Sokolov, considered a forerunner of the second Odesa avant-garde, exhibits the results of his work: a mix of culture, poetry, graphic art, and painting. Works by contemporary artist Mykola Lukin, constitute the second part of the exhibition. His pieces are represented in monochrome.
