Dynamo Crashes Out of Europa League

After securing valuable away goals in a 2-2 draw in a Europa League Round of 16 match in Italy, Dynamo Kyiv faltered at home when they dropped to a 0-2 result to Lazio on 15 March. More than 52 OOO fans went home frustrated after a disappointing display high­lighted by Italian goals in the 23rd and 83rd minutes. The team may still walk away with two domestic titles though: they sit six points back of frontrunners Shakhtar Donetsk in the Premier League (with six games to play) and they face second division’s SC Dnipro-1 in the Ukrainian Cup semi-final on 18 April.
