Donetsk much earlier than usual, after being drawn against the three-time defending Ukrainian Cup champions in the quarterfinal draw. Our boys in blue and white will be looking for a little revenge after falling to the Eastern Ukrainian heavyweights in each of the last two finals. The tournament is for all Ukrainian football clubs, regardless of level, so the winner of this quarterfinal will become the favourite to win it all this year.
Dynamo last won the Ukrainian Cup in 2015, getting past Shakhtar after seven dramatic rounds of penalty kicks.
