One of the brightest young musicians and composers of his generation, Armenian-born Tigran Hamasyan draws inspiration from – American jazz, progressive rock, immortal classics, heavy grooves, and thrash metal, while his vibrant improvisations deftly blend contemporary electronica and the folk tunes of his native land. A virtuoso piano player, Hamasyan has won a string of highly acclaimed international awards – prepare to meet “a mature and great and rich and deep artist”, as he is called by the legendary Chick Corea.
