Odesa Wine Wins Award

Odesa Wine Wins Award

We have a new wine to add to your must-try list!

At the end of February, the competition En Primeur, judging the 2019 harvest by the Black Sea Winemakers Association, took place in Kherson. Wine experts and the public tested and voted on 41 wines.

Judges said some wines were great, while others had room for improvement. But they decided on winners, and @46parallel’s wine came out on top in a couple categories: its 2019 Pinot Gris El Capitan won in the white wine category, and its 2019 Rose El Capitan won in the rose category.

The award-winning Pinot Gris is a dry white wine with lemon-floral notes and hints of honey and apple, while the Rose is a dry wine with hints of strawberries, cranberries, red currants, and gooseberry.

46 Parallel Wine Group produces wine in Odesa, which is located at the 46 parallel, a prime location in the world of winemaking.
