The Very First Date

Each city has its own romantic routes. Here in Kyiv, you can’t beat Andriivskyi Spusk, romantic Podil, stylish Khreshchatyk, with many cosy parks and squares dotted in and along. It’s also impossible not to mention the beautiful opera house, fantastic theater of modern art, or our quirky operetta. With snow still on the ground, you’ll want to spend as much time indoors as possible. So, without further adieu, may we offer our Top 3 venues to continue what is already a wonderful evening.

As in any fairytale, one should always leave space for a little aftertaste, which can include a delicious dinner with wine and music, heartfelt conversation over a cup of coffee, or both!

Make My Cake

Stanislavskoho 2/5

An atmospheric restaurant on a quiet street near the Franco Theater – Make My Cake Cafe may well be the perfect spot to your romantic walk.

Order several types of specialty macaroons at once and do not forget to ask about seasonal flavors. By the way, there are also light meals on the menu in case your date turns out to be longer than just a flat-white.

Win Bar

Horyva 16/7

Wine, candles, and dim lighting – Podil’s Win Bar is just the place if you want a classic first date. Come by after a walk through Kyiv’s most romantic neighbourhood, for a bottle of pinot noir, or any of their specialty wines on tap. The amazing interior, preserved since the 19th century, features many a table for two to talk about the weather, the election, or what to do later…

Belyi Shum

Kostyantynivska 11

City café “White Noise” is located on the first floor of the Bursa hotel complex. The venue is suitable for a quick coffee or a delicious dinner in spacious but quiet room. If all goes well and you don’t need to run to catch the metro, climb to the rooftop and continue your date with a cocktail in 1818.
