To the Island

Now in its seventh year, the Ostrov Festival continues to go from strength-to-strength. It caters to fans of techno, with music from current DJs and musicians, as well as representatives of the best labels, promotional teams, and the growing Ukrainian electronic music scene. The mission of this festival has been, from its inception, to support and develop Ukrainian techno-culture and continue to raise the bar with a number of increasingly high-profile acts.

Ostrov does not only allude to the name of the festival and its location, it is also a destination for city-dwellers, an island of nature, recreation, and sport. Located in the middle of the Dnipro River, the festival organically fits into this natural environment, transformed by the energy of the people attending.

Throughout the festival, well-known electronic music maestros such as Tale Of Us, Dixon, Pan-Pot, Mind Against, Nicole Moudaber, Carl Craig, Juan Atkins, Mathew Jonson, DJ Koze, Booka Shade, Ricardo Villalobos, Matias Aguayo, and many more have headlined. For this iteration, a whole new fabulous line-up features.

With special emphasis given to visual effects, art objects, and a futuristic stage decoration – all this together will create its own unique atmosphere. Several creative teams are working to make this happen. The co-founders of the Ukrainian version of Burning Man, Yaroslav Korets and Yaroslav Mamai, together with the architectural studio of Yevgeny Zasutsky, are in the process of creating unique dance floor designs. Also, the multicultural art platform Divina will implement its vision of the festival, working on art objects, to drastically affect the festival’s visual appearance. Prepare to rave.

The Line-up:
