The Revolution that Wasn’t
Much has been written about the gatherings outside Parliament over the last few weeks, and as this is happening in Kyiv it deserves a few words from us. Suffice to say that although it was touted as such, this is no “3rd Maidan”. There are still tents on the road and there’s a field kitchen feeding the few hundred people who are still camped out there, but, there’s little reason to think this demonstration is suddenly going to gather any momentum. In fact, momentum is something it has lacked since day one. That’s all.
