Art (November – December)
Above Me
Exhibition of paintings by Anna Mironova
23 November – 17 December
Voloshyn Gallery (Tereshchenkivska 13)
“Make people look to the heavens – that’s the idea of ceiling frescoes in churches.” That’s according to Anna Mironova. “In everyday life we rarely raise our heads and look up, the upper levels of the city with beautifully ornamented facades and the complex lace made of tree branches and leaves,” she says. Her latest exhibition is a selection of abstract paintings that urge us to look above – away from the pavement and our phones – at least from time to time.
