Kyiv is Awesome!

It’s exciting times for Kyiv, and not just because it looks like a new mayor will be taking the city’s reins (Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko was fired on 4 September due to his alleged connections to notorious developer Vadym Stolar), but because our city is awesome! Not only is this the sentiment of local residents, but it seems to resonate also with visitors who have been coming to the Ukrainian capital in droves this year.

Kyiv is becoming more and more a destination for international travel, with nearly 900 000 visitors in the first six months of 2019 alone, according to the Kyiv City Administration Tourism and Promotions Office. Meanwhile, flights to Kyiv skyrocketed, 1 537% this year alone!
