1. On 3 May 2020, 502 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Ukraine over the past 24 hours. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 11 913, the @Міністерство охорони здоров’я України reports. In Ukraine, 1 547 people have recovered from the disease, and 288 people have died. Of all cases, 2 325 doctors and 829 children have become ill with COVID-19. In Kyiv, 1 511 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed.
2. Ukrainian restaurateurs and entrepreneurs staged a protest rally disguised as a picnic in front of the president’s office. They demanded the authorities allow cafés and restaurants to open their summer terraces during the coronavirus lockdown. The protesters wore masks and arranged tables at a distance of 1.5 metres from each other.

3. Forty-four Austrian enterprises are waiting for 802 Ukrainian seasonal workers, said Vadym Prystaiko, the deputy prime minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic integration. The deputy PM noted that negotiations with Finland on a large number of Ukrainian workers were underway. Talks with Poland, Czech Republic, and Germany are on the agenda. Recall that a couple of days ago, Ukrainian workers flew to London for seasonal work.

4. Ukrainian athletes have returned home after spending two months in Portugal, @Федерація легкої атлетики України/Ukrainian Athletic Federation reports.
