- As of 24 May, 20 986 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Ukraine. Over the past day, 406 cases of the disease were recorded. In total, 7 099 patients have recovered and 617 have died.
- On 24 May, no new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed from the day before in six Ukrainian oblasts: Mykolaiv, Poltava, Kherson, Sumy, Donetsk, and Lugansk.

- Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba says the memorial of Ukraine with evidence related to the seizure of Ukrainian sailors and vessels by Russian security forces in the Kerch Strait in November 2018 will be sent to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) arbitral tribunal in The Hague.
- Entry-exit checkpoints at the administrative border between Ukraine and Crimea temporarily occupied by Russia will be closed until 22 June. However, people who are registered there may enter the occupied territory, and people registered outside the occupied territory can enter mainland Ukraine.
