There have been almost 5 500 statues of Lenin taken down throughout the course of the decommunisation process in Ukraine, with Lenins toppled, beheaded, replaced, or hidden away. A Swiss photographer and French journalist spent several months touring Ukraine finding not only fallen monuments, but what’s more:  stories that relay the live testimony of Ukrainian history.
