Don’t miss the Ukrainian Hemp Fair this Autumn
On 2 to 4 October , a unique event will take place in Kyiv – the Ukrainian Hemp products Fair. Over 50 companies will present a variety of cannabis products and invited speakers will share their experience with the latest research, decriminalization and use of medical cannabis for the treatment of many diseases, as well as innovations in the field of industrial hemp growing.
Around the world, the cannabis market is developing at a fast pace, and was even a topic at the World Economic Forum in Davos. The idea of the hemp fair is to familiarize the audience with a wide range of Ukrainian producers – more than 150 types of goods that include hemp. The event will provide the community with an opportunity to learn about the safe cultivation and use of this plant.
In addition to the exhibition area, a conference will be held for three days, during which 27 Ukrainian and foreign experts will speak to the guests: scientists, doctors, lawyers, representatives of public organizations and educators with information on modern research on cannabinoids, decriminalization of cannabis, medical cannabis; and cannabis farming as a branch of agriculture.
The fair and conference takes place at the exhibition center on avenue Academician Glushkova 1. There will also be a food court and a recreation area but don’t forget to wear your mask and respect social distancing rules. The event will be held with the support of the Institute of Bast Cultures of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. Online tickets cost 125 UAH per day.
