Enjoy Contemporary Art at M17
Want to learn something new from Ukrainian and international experts? We’d recommend a visit to the M17 Contemporary Art Center (CAC) on Antonovycha Street. Open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., the M17 hopes to integrate Ukrainian art into the global scene by supporting artistic projects and exhibitions.
CAC is one of the largest non-governmental exhibition spaces in Kyiv. The total area of the Center building is 1238 m², in addition, it`s technical equipment complies with international standards that enables the Art Center to host art projects from all over the world.
The M17 was founded in 2010, and since that time it has hosted hundreds of events, dozens of exhibitions, and has become a platform for visionary projects and educational programs. Founders of the Center established M17 Sculpture Project and M17 Sculpture Prize, which is the largest professional award for sculptors in Ukraine.
Visitors have the possibility to see The Voices of Love project that has been extended to August 30 as well as participate in a new research project called “PROсollections”. Don’t forget to visit M17 Art Cafe after your visit to taste delicious cakes and reflect on what you’ve seen.
