We can’t go to Greece yet, but don’t despair! You can compensate by travelling downtown to Kritikos and pampering yourself with authentic Greek cuisine.
Kritikos is a dynasty, with it’s own traditions and customs, and most importantly – food recipes that are passed down from generation to generation. Named after its founders Nikos and Ekaterina Kritikos, the first establishment opened its doors in 1977 in Ouranoupolis, located near the sacred mount of Athos. In 2013, the second restaurant popped up in Thessaloniki and finally, in 2019, the third venue emerged in Ukraine’s capital.
The chefs of Kyiv’s restaurant completed their internship in Greece and learnt the Kritikos cooking secrets. A huge variety of seafood, Mediterranean fish, as well as a large selection of meat treats will definitely cater to guests’ tastes. Just look at these mouthwatering specialties on offer – steamed fish with vegetables, sea bass carpaccio, Kritharoto with prawns, grilled scallops, and meatballs (Grandmother’s recipe!).
The original dishes combined with the simple and stylish design will make you feel like you are enjoying your summer vacation on the Aegean Sea coast.
