Twice a year, the EIU puts out its cost of living list, ranking cities based on prices for products and services, like food, drinks, rent for accommodations, and transport fees, among others. Since last year, Kyiv jumped up 22 spots, tying Moscow for 86th most expensive city in the world.
Singapore, Hong Kong, and Osaka top the chart for most expensive cities, while on the opposite list, Damascus in Syria is ranked the cheapest city to live.
