For five years in a row, a factory that once produced ribbons (or ‘strichky’ as they are called in Ukrainian), has been at the forefront of electronic music culture, dance culture, and developing culture as a whole on its premises. On the night of May 19/20, thousands of like-minded people will unite to celebrate five years of Closer, shortlisted as one of the top 20 clubs in the world by Resident Advisor. Grand in terms of scale yet intimate in terms of atmosphere, this is Strichka Festival, and it is not for the faint of heart. With performances from dozens of DJs hailing from the UK, France, Denmark, and many more countries, it’s sure to be one hell of a party!

White Nights vol. 6

One of the biggest annual dance events in Ukraine, White Nights vol. 6 will be held on 15-16 June at Kyiv’s industrial arts centre – Art Zavod Platforma. Guests will experience performances from more than 100 artists of different musical styles on five stages, there will be a food court from Ulichnaya Eda, the best bars in Kyiv, photo zones, light shows, and hugely high megawatts of sound.
