The unprecedented success of their first EP rocketed Sofi Tukker to fame, from which came track Best Friend, which was used by Apple to introduce the iPhone X and was found on the FIFA 18 soundtrack. And then there’s the viral hit Drinkee – not only did it appear in Apple Watch commercials, it has more than 20 million streams on Spotify, and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance Record. The band undoubtedly knows how to record a memorable hit, whether we like it or not. Their jungle-pop music is full of tenacious rhythms of bossa, playful castanets, and mesmorising guitar.
