Speedboats and Sparkling Wine
Ever wanted to see Kyiv from the comfort of a private boat, glass of bubbly in hand?
If you’re in the mood for a summer outing in Kyiv, you could do far worse than a sunset boat trip, feeling the breeze on your face and marvelling at the golden-domed, tree-lined banks of the Dnipro River. Pleasure cruises have long been popular with Kyivans and tourists alike, but a new project by the name of Sparkling Boat Kyiv promises to take the boating experience to a whole new level.
Tailor-made trips
Created by PR experts Roman Medynskyi and Alina Smolina-Medynska, Sparkling Boat offers much more than your average boat trip. Firstly, these boats go fast. Secondly, each trip is private and devised with the client in mind. Thirdly, they have wine. Just hop on one of their speedboats, grab a glass of Latinium sparkling wine, and relax (or party).
Whether you’re planning a crazy night out with your friends, a romantic date, a luxurious wedding, or a fun-filled family trip, Sparkling Boat can cater to your needs. They even do corporate events and business meetings for anyone wanting to spice up their work life. Every trip is different, so repeat customers will discover new sights each time: highlights include sunken ships, hidden lagoons inhabited by colonies of birds, and hard-to-reach islands.
If you like to strike a pose, you’re in luck: a ride with Sparkling Boat offers endless photo opportunities. For the photographers out there, this is a fantastic way to get unforgettable shots of a couple or a family without putting yourself or the client in danger.
Dreams come true
Recently, the well-connected founders held a star-studded launch party, with guests including Svetlana Tarabarova and Arsen Mirzoyan. In the words of co-founder Alina: “Our guests are all part of the Sparkling Boat Kyiv project. They were the ones who dreamed of beautiful trips down the Dnipro. And, as you know, dreams come true.”
If this sounds like something you too have been dreaming of, now you know who to call.
Thinking of taking your camera along? Here are a few tips for a unique onboard photoshoot:
Most professional photographers agree that the best lighting is at sunset. It highlights the face evenly, as well as being generally flattering. Since the sun will be in the west, your subject’s face will be best illuminated while going downstream. So turn off the flash! When you’re going upstream, the setting sun will give a nice background light but won’t highlight the face. Turn on the flash and blast away!
