Hot off Ukrainian Olympic hero Vasyl Lomachenko’s convincing defeat of Jorge Pedraza for the WBO lightweight belt on 8 December, Kyiv’s fighting fans have plenty of options to take in some live action in the Ukrainian capital this month. The fun begins when Ukraine’s WBA flyweight champion Artem Dalakian defends his title against the Dominican Republic’s Gregorio Lebron (21-4) at Kyiv’s Parkovy Convention Centre on 15 December. Dalakian has moved his undefeated record up to 17-0 and is the heavy favourite to defend his title at home.
