Dynamo to face Lazio in Europa League
15 March at 19:00
Olympic Stadium (V Vasylkivska 55)
Kyiv’s beloved Dynamo returns to Kyiv on 15 March needing only a low-scoring draw or better to advance to the Europa League quarterfinals after traveling to Rome and securing a 2-2 draw with home side Lazio. Viktor Tsyhankov got the Ukrainian side on the board first with a cute 52nd minute back-heel before tournament second leading-scorer Junior Moraes scored his seventh of the competition to knot the score at two with a stunning top-corner kick from 30 yards out with 10 minutes to play. Ukrainian national team defender Denys Harmash will miss the return match after collecting a red card after the final whistle. The Europa League is Europe’s second most important club tournament and the final will take place in Lyon, France on 16 May.
