The 12 Months Zoo is Waiting for You
Looking for a cool quarantine-approved travel idea for you and your family, while also lending a hand to a local business that has been hit hard by quarantine measures? Well, now is a great time to head out to the 12 Months Zoo, located just 30 km north of the city.
One of Ukraine’s most popular zoos, this European-style park allows you to get up close and personal with animals like lions, tigers, and bears (oh my!) as well as hippos, crocodiles, and flamingoes. Be there for the giraffe feeding, where you can purchase some yummy branches and feed the funny creatures yourself!
The venue boasts of petting zoo, playgrounds, restaurants, a fishing area, and even a swimming pool. The European-style park was designed to allow visitors to get close to the animals while at the same protecting the animals from human contact while giving them ample space to roam.
Since the site was forced to continue to work while prevented from receiving visitors, it took a financial hit during quarantine. That means that a visit now is as important as ever!
Entrance is 190 UAH or 70 UAH for children. The park is open from 10.00 to 21.00, seven days a week. Busses (No. 355) leave from the Heoriv Dnipra metro station.
