The KLC Burns Night Turns 21

On 13 April, at the Hilton Hotel in Kyiv, the 21st Kyiv Lions Club Burns Night was celebrated. As with every event, the Lions have their own special kind of charity, and this was certainly no exception! This year’s theme was a music battle between Ukraine and Scotland and featured songs written by artists of both nations and performed by some fabulous local talent. Of course, this was following words of welcome by club president Natalia Koval, the traditional hag-gis, and live auctions and lotteries for superb prizes in the hopes of raising enough money to equip a minor surgery room for the Chil-dren’s Cardiac Centre.
