Juno and Avos on Ice (rock musical)
2-4 January at 19.00
Palace of Sports (Sportyvna Square 1)
Juno and Avos, a cult rock opera composed by Aleksei Rybnikov in the early 80s, gets a new lease of life. The ice show uses dance as a key tool of artistic expression to make us look at a well-known love story from another perspective. The performance applies special effects, spectacular light-and-video projections, and virtual reality scenery to take us on a journey across the raging ocean – from the port city of Kronstadt to California’s white sands.

20 December at 19.00
House of Officers (Hrushevskoho 30/1)
If you want to know what women really think about, don’t listen to them. Women talk a lot, yet what is it they conceal? Each has secrets to hide, and five ladies brought together under one roof constitute an intricate mystery over a murder that occurs at night. Which one is a murderess? A police inspector sets to investigate this riddle. His task is far from simple: while comparing testimonies and facts, he must not let the lovely ladies drive him crazy with their ‘logic’.
