Kyiv is gearing up to host one of the most exclusive events in its social calendar: the Annual Charity Vienna Ball. This unique cultural phenomenon with a noble cause behind it has spread all over the world, becoming a grand Kyiv tradition supported by both Austrian and Ukrainian governmental authorities. This autumn, the most glamorous community will descend on Kyiv’s City State Administration to rub shoulders with top officials, influential business representatives, and celebrities. In the sumptuous atmosphere, couples will dance the waltz, tango, polka, polonaise, and foxtrot to music conducted by Herman Makarenko, the only Ukrainian art figure who has earned international recognition as an UNESCO Artist for Peace.
