  • The 49th Molodist International Film Festival

 

The 49th Molodist International Film Festival will take place in Kyiv from 22 to 30 of August. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the festival will be held for the first time in August and films from the festival programs will be available for free online. Physical screenings take place in the Zhovten cinema and Cinema House. Admission is free for students.

The traditional party in honor of the Independence Day of Ukraine will take place in Khvylovy on Monday, 24th of August. Guests can listen to Ukrainian funk from the 70’s, pop from the 80’s, lyrics of the 90’s, electronic zero and a lot of modern music. There’s something for everyone.

  • The program of film screenings “Our Independence” in Shevchenko Park

During the whole week from 21 to 27 August at 21:00 in Shevchenko Park a film about an important figure in Ukrainian history will be shown. In the program: “Call Banderas” and “Red” by Zaza Buadze, “U311 Cherkasy” by Timur Yashchenko, “Cyborgs” by Akhtem Seitablaev, “Brothers in Arms” by Serhiy Lysenko, “Gamer” by Oleg Sentsov and “Our Cats” by Volodymyr Tykhy. Admission is FREE.
